In the second century following the aftermath of the Great War, nestled in the northern expanse of Arabia, lay the quaint city of Zawatul-Ifdar. Here, amidst its bustling streets, thrived commerce, agriculture, husbandry, and economic prowess.
Ruling over this prosperous city was the renowned sorcerer and affluent monarch, Lazwar ibn Kaulat. His fame echoed across the Arab lands, earning him the title of GAGARABADAU among the continent’s rulers. Despite amassing a treasury of magical artifacts and wealth, including dominion over his kingdom, King Lazwar found himself ensnared in a nocturnal torment, drowned in sorrow and despair, his solace only found in the numbness brought by alcohol.
His anguish stemmed from a singular cause – an insidious enchantment laid upon him by his adversary, King Darwazu. Through diligent research, Lazwar discovered that he could never father an heir unless he shattered the mystical barrier placed upon him.
For five agonizing years, the king languished in his grief until, one fateful day, a resounding laughter emanated from the palace, shattering the somber silence that had enveloped it for half a decade. This unexpected outburst puzzled all who heard it, for never before had the king displayed such mirth.
Unbeknownst to his subjects, the source of King Lazwar’s newfound jubilation lay in his revelation of a method to dispel the enchantment cast by King Darwazu.
His path to liberation lay in acquiring five crucial components: the tears of a deceased monster dwelling within the forests of Darul-Shatir, the sacred cloth woven over two millennia by the sorceress Lazira, the water from Bahar-Dawau, teeming with perilous creatures, the cloak of the world’s sorcerer king, Murkatul-Azab, and lastly, the aid of Sharifa Bintu Usman, a resilient heroine enslaved under the Sultanate of Istanbul.
Upon realizing the importance of Sharifa’s role, King Lazwar faced a dilemma, for his idol foretold that he could never meet her. Thus, he implored her assistance, offering himself in servitude to her cause for years to come.
However, Sharifa, burdened by her own hardships, remained hesitant to embrace the king’s plea, questioning the worthiness of his pursuit amidst her own bleak circumstances.
In the end, King Lazwar resolved to pursue Sharifa, acknowledging the uncertain outcome but steadfast in his belief that meeting her need held greater significance than any long-term ambition. For where there is life, there is hope, and where there is fate, there lies the potential for change.
