Jack Rowland, Brayden Sadler Car Accident – Obituary: Victims Died in Car Crash
Brayden Sadler, 18, of Grand Rapids, and Jack Rowland, 18, of Perrysburg, were killed in a crash involving off-road vehicles early Saturday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).
The crash occurred just after midnight on Henry-Lucas County Road near S. River Road in Providence Township. Sadler was riding an off-road dirt bike northbound, while Rowland was riding a sport ATV southbound, both traveling in the wrong lane. The vehicles collided head-on, and both teens died at the scene.
Both were recent graduates of Otsego High School, where the graduation ceremony took place the previous evening.
OSHP stated that alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, and neither vehicle was properly equipped for public roadways. The patrol urged motorists to avoid operating vehicles on roads that are not street legal, wear proper safety gear, and never drive while impaired.
