Juniper Blessing UW Obituary – Death Seattle, Washington — The University of Washington community is mourning the tragic death of Juniper Blessing, a 19-year-old student who was fatally stabbed at an off-campus student housing complex near the Seattle campus.

According to Seattle police, Blessing, identified as a transgender woman and UW student, was found with fatal stab wounds inside a laundry room at the Nordheim Court Apartments on Sunday night. Emergency responders attempted lifesaving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities later identified 31-year-old Christopher Leahy as the suspect in the case. Police confirmed that Leahy turned himself in to Bellevue police before being transferred to Seattle homicide detectives and booked into the King County Jail for investigation of murder.
