Jose Ambrocio Medina Soto Death – Obituary: Sharonda Clark Surrendered to Authorities

A second suspect involved in a deadly street racing crash on Mother’s Day in South Dallas has turned herself in, according to Dallas police. Sharonda Clark, 47, surrendered to authorities on Wednesday in connection with the May 11 crash that claimed the life of 59-year-old Jose Ambrocio Medina Soto.

Clark now faces multiple charges, including collision involving death, serious bodily injury, and racing on a highway causing death. Her bond has been set at $375,000. Authorities had previously released surveillance images of Clark’s vehicle and license plate, offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to her arrest.

The crash occurred when Clark, in a black Cadillac, was racing another driver, 31-year-old Kadishjah Jackson, who was behind the wheel of a blue Ford Fusion. Jackson reportedly lost control of her vehicle, crossed into oncoming traffic, and collided with Soto’s pickup truck. Soto was killed at the scene, while Jackson’s vehicle overturned, trapping her and two passengers. Clark reportedly fled the scene.

Jackson was arrested earlier and faces charges including manslaughter, aggravated assault, and racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury. Her bond is set at $1 million. Dallas police continue to investigate the incident.
