Charles Nordlinger Death, Obituary – Missing 87-year-old Bay Area man Found Dead

A Silver Alert for 87-year-old Charles Nordlinger, an elderly man from Burlingame who went missing early Sunday in San Francisco, was canceled after authorities found him.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) issued the Silver Alert at the request of the Burlingame Police Department when Nordlinger had not been seen since approximately 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

After a search lasting about two hours, the CHP reported that Charles Nordlinger had been located. Unfortunately, officials later confirmed that he was found deceased.

Details surrounding the circumstances of his death have not yet been released. The community mourns the loss of Mr. Nordlinger, and authorities continue to investigate.
